A bathroom reno can be daunting, even if it only involves minor changes. So to take the pressure off of homeowners—and ensure they get a professional look at a fraction of the price—designer Shawna Percival has come up with a new concept: bathroom design kits.
When Percival—the founder of San Antonio-based Styleberry Creative Interiors—heard designers don’t currently have the bandwidth to take on small cosmetic bathroom renos, she came up with a way to fill that void. Enter: Sourced Design Kits. Each kit includes a rendering and flatlay moodboard to get a sense of the final look. A complete shopping list details everything you need to bring the design to life, with high-end and budget-friendly picks from places like CB2, Caesarstone, Target, and West Elm. A renovation guidebook helps you from start to finish. The spec book allows you to record your final selections, which you can then easily hand over to a general contractor. Oh, and each kit includes a live Q&A with Percival.
Priced at $595, the kits are currently available to buy on Sourced’s website in four styles: fresh, moody, colorful, and on-trend. The limited-time styles refresh each season, so there will be 16 designs rotated throughout the year.
“I believe a homeowner can do anything with a plan, the right tools, and the confidence to succeed, and that is exactly what each and every design kit gives you,” Percival said in a press release. “The only missing ingredient is a strong, take-charge person to bring the design to life!”
